Tell me what you think I should do, whether I should get it graded, or sell as is.
I am new to all this and would like to thank anybody for your help!

! If it were mine and I wanted to sell it, certification would be a must.

Hopefully members with experience with mercs will chime in (I cannot verify its authenticity).

Close ups of the mint mark will help determine if the coin is authentic.

Authentication is a must by ANACS, NGC, or PCGS.
ANACS would be the most cost affective way, giving you the correct answer.

No wonder everbody looks at me like a stupid-face
with these coins graded by them D: Should I regrade all those done by them?
http://myworld.ebay.com/numismaticamanda
Those are what I currently have up, he had
already graded them, I feel If I put them up
without being graded people will feel like I'm
trying to bamboozle them.
So is the coin real, I should go ahead and subscribe?

I'm going to, I just want to make sure it's real before doing so so I don't look like a fool.
My father was very gullible god rest his soul.
Is there any way if I got a crystal clear picture of the mark someone could tell me if it's a phony
or not.

Some of the Mercury dime experts here should be able to give you a reliable opinion on the chances of this being a legit 1916-D or not and then you could decide to send it off to a grading service. But that would depend heavily on the quality of the photos you are able to provide. You need a close up of the D on the reverse, perhaps you could use a jeweler's loupe to help get a close up photo with your camera.
