After editing my multiple spelling and grammar errors, I realized I neglected to say I hope you continue to update us on your activities with this coin.
Cheers!

you've read my mood/intentions incorrectly my goal was not to make you feel ignorant nor was my tone intended to sound as if I was jumping on you and treating you like a child, I'll take the higher road on this and apologize for making you feel the way you did simply put, your best bet is an investment to a major TPG and have them work this out for you. Your best case scenario is that you have a winner and huge amount of money you'd be sitting on...your worst case is that you have a nice conversational piece with a good story

Everyone here tries to be constructive in their own way. You can, however, be assured that there is not one person here that doesn't wish that you have a $10,000 find here . Keep us updated

Your looking at a $5-7K coin if genuine. Yes, send it fully insured/registered or to the booth at a show yourself. I'm wishing all the best for you! Keep us updated.

The safest way to ship a valuable coin is via REGISTERED MAIL ONLY! You need to pack the coin well and use brown kraft tape covering all seams, this way the postman will stamp each seam with his intitials proving it is closed and sealed, the package will have to be signed for in and out at every stop and insurance is easy to add, I believe up to $25K. This is the way most large coin dealers ship coins. I wouldn't use FedEx as coins are not insurable by them, many companies that ship coins use FedEx but only because the hold seperate insurance for shipping coins, which most people would not have. You need a special rider or insurance policy to cover coins being shipped anything other than Registered mail via the USPS to be safe.

I see a common theme with these threads: Inexperienced collector finds a rare coin, a million people reply, months go by, OP never delivers. I'm curious to what happened as well.

Judging that the thread is from over a year and a half ago, I do not think we will know the result. If it was real (and I think it was) then it was likely sold and the OP just forgot about us.
