Okay, let me narrow down my last hint: the coin was struck during the Constantine period for an emperor predating it.

You got it:  Follis minted in Rome (317-318) in memory of Claudius II Gothicus - RIC#106 Obverse: DIVO CLAVDIO OPTIMO IMP around head right, laureate and veiled Reverse: REQVIES O P TIMOR MERIT around emperor standing left in curole chair, raising right hand, .R.T. in exregue

It's definitely Byzantine, so it's not that bad really. Maybe Heraclius Constantine is one of them, right or left that is the question.

Yes,a different (quite common) posthumous one:  Antoninianus minted in all mints ~AD270 in honour of Claudius II Gothicus - RIC#266 Obverse: DIVO CLAVDIO around head right, radiate Reverse: CONSECRATIO around eagle facing right
