What makes you think it's fake?

Never said anything about it being fake...just this seller's history of selling allegedly certified TPG coins, which are significantly over-graded + harshly cleaned. Their negative feedback is consistent and tells the story.

Not a fake - but looks polished/cleaned/dipped to death...

NNC is known for overgrading.

A few years back I took it all the way to the Florida State Attorneys office. Surprisingly they were aware, based on previous complaints of this firm operating under different names. All apparently perfectly legal. It was explained to me by an Assistant to the AG that unless there are norms , legal guidelines or solid and accepted uniform rules for grading, it is perfectly legal to do this. Anyone can do it. remember, it is an opinion you rely on. Not established facts. Some years back they recognized a "void" in the numismatic market and shamelessly exploited it, and still do. Has anyone ever wondered WHERE they get their endless supply from? They are in the US what a certain Bayseller is here in Canada . "buy the coin, NOT the packaging"

Kind of a backdoor appraisal there.

47P7: I always figured shops like this got their material from setting up a fly by night .. we buy your coins at this hotel ... kind of thing... The stupid thing is ... if you or I try to sell an item on e-bay and give a grade .. the item could be de-listed as the grade isn't recognized.. and if there's any dispute regarding the buyer will be reimbursed AND may keep the coin.. But if "Centsless" or "MSAY" over grade who cares they're selling on huge volume so ebay just looks the other way and will deal with the disputes if and when they arise.

Is NNC a real TPG or is it a label used by centles? I'd be very interested to know. I wonder how long they've been selling? One thing that really bugs me, there's no description of the coin, only a full page of terms of sale. It's frustrating to go to the description part and there's little to no information on the coin. Especially when it's a coin, a person isn't overly familiar with. So many sellers clutter up the description with terms of sale and nothing on the coin. ebay needs to crack down on the proper use of description. Another huge offend for me, is a one line description, stating the coin you see, is the coin you get. I don't find this useful, or when the seller states I combine shipping. They need to disclose how much extra for each additional win. This would be useful and helpful info. These are my pet peeves as an ebay buyer!!

centsles == NNC He slabs everything he sells with his own grading service. But, I don't think he ever claims they are TPG. Coinmart does the same thing with flips. "If you feel you are an expert and your coin will grade higher or cross over in a different service you are doing so at your own risk." OK, who is the top overgrader? centsles or asyn?
