Zxcccxz, your solidus is actually of Tiberius II Constantine. On the obverse is TIb CONSTANT.

Yikes... looks like I typed it up wrong. I do have it labeled correctly though:

I'm particularly happy with this 82mm Pius IX medal by Bianchi.

For United States coins it has got to be this one for me, the pictures don't accurately show the toning, but so be it. 1872 Seated dime And for ancients it would be this one, I just think it has so much character to it.

My favorite purchase this year is this 1861-O Half Dollar. I was told by the seller that this example was struck by the State of Louisiana after secession, but before the Confederacy controlled the mint. It has great original skin, and I had it slabbed (PCGS XF45).

My favorite numismatic purchases of 2014 also happen to be my three slabbed coins. 1922 Peace dollar NGC MS-63 1921 Morgan dollar NGC MS-63 However, my #1 favorite out of the three is my 1882-S Morgan dollar certified MS-64 by NGC. It's my most expensive, most valuable, highest grade, and one of the most beautiful coins in my entire collection. I also bought it at my first coin show. I'm very proud to call this the centerpiece of my collection...

My most satisfying purchase was a Luigino with a 1669 ottoman countermark on it. It filled a gap in my collection. From the late 1660st time there are three known ottoman mark on Luigino, I already had two of the three but was missing this one. The bonus was that the base coin is also reasonably rare

For me the 1945 Canadian silver dollar AU58. Now I just need the 1947 maple leaf and the 1948!
