Packaging on the website is unclear. If someone orders these can you let us know how the coin is shipped when you receive it.

After collecting coins for some years, I found these fancy packaging (literally) a waste of space.

And the boat reminds me of a sushi dish (small sushi boat).

As Pierre Berton said, "A Canadian is someone who knows how to make love in a canoe without tipping it."

Perhaps that is the inspiration for the design of coin #6, "Exquisite Ending"!

Distinctly Canadian and another coin "FIRST!"

Thanks for the laugh, canuk1us

The large mouth bass coin has caught my interest, I've been wanting a coin like that for quite some time.

I have been wanting a "Fish of Canada" series for years too, but I don't see any coins with a bass?

If you're talking about the coin in the Canoe Across Canada series it's defintely a trout.

It's coming with the February release. Can't see why the Mint would issue a stand alone fish coin so I expect this to be a series. They'll need a 5oz for the Musky

With that many fishing enthusiasts out there and a low mintage, these will no doubt be in high demand.

The packaging in style of previously commissioned series, so probably the same for this one.

fishing enthusiasts do not care about coins, same as majority of duck enthusiasts (well, duck bit a different story, since it was the set, while single coins had no demand).

Sadly, the gilding on the celebration of the nickel doesn't look right. I was looking forward to that one.
