Quote: The booklet says 6500 for the Bighorn sheep. Interesting, I wonder if they did it because they are seeing less demand, or they're trying to stir things up.

Appreciate you fishing hobby, guys Looks like it "more useful" than just NCLT collecting. But anyway - you, and not Canada-wide fishing lovers - true target group of these coins.
Added: At this stage confirmed by the Rep, that it is impossible to preorder (via rep) the single "Nickel" coin. Of cause, the situation might be changed.

Interesting analysis thus for...on Feb batch...(great fish pic - above) My doctor advises at least 4 servings of fish per week is highly recommend...so this new 4 coin serving fits that bill.
Having gone fishing over the years...as so many have here from what I am reading...this type of theme is incredibly overdue...and likely to do well...as has the similar packaged eagles, bison...and deer...if not mistaken.
My take on the Nickels - I appreciate the comments about the high mintage BUT - its a first in that we are to have in hand larger than original nickel varieties...and arguably the nickel designs of the past have been most creative...of the circulation coins...and with gold plating...(which is a great visual enhancement to these great designs) and,in a box ( a bonus) that comes with the 2nd coin...versus the end of the subscription - its a win win concept.

continuing...with this huge Feb release...
Not too thrilled about the Eyes of the Cougar...just doesn't compete with the previous Owl version...
Same lack of excitement for the three-piece Carmichael pack...and this could spell the end of any further Group of Seven type coins...for now...unless...colour gets incorporated just to test the market...
Overkill on the majestic animals...no more...enough...
Regarding...final bank note coin...okay...just okay...because the detail seems slim for this finale...
Not shown through pre-release by Rep - is the final Great Lakes coin. I am wondering whether Georgian Bay will be part of the final Lake Huron coin...a body of water where most of those sportfish to be stamped onto the new fishy series can be readily reeled in from...
Gone...Fishing.

Quote: its a win win concept. The concept is good, price is bothering. (being not higher, than for other 1oz gilded coins, but for the set - it is expensive )

For the Fish subscription, the rep email did not state when they'll ship the box but I've received the mint catalog yesterday and it shown the case for the fish coins ship with the last coin of the series

ugh...and US customers get sidelined again. I have been collecting the bank note coins, ordering each one as it is released, but now this last coin is the series is not available to US customers. guess i'll be waiting and looking on ebay later. its as if the RCM is pushing US customers away.

They will likely change it to Canada and US at some point. Then you can buy it for $56 ...

The 1KG eyes of the cougar is 'awaiting stock' and moved to the end of the new releases (usually means it's sold out). That was fast for $2300 times 500 coins.
The 1/4oz pure gold maple leaves with the Queen's effigy from 1965 is very tempting. $650 reverse proof with a mintage of only 1500 and great designs front and back.

The maple leaves on the reverse of the gold coin is just a stripped down version of the 2015 1/2 oz Maple Leaves coins. I would rather buy the 1/2 oz silver coin instead. The 1965 effigy appeared a few time on other recent releases so it starts losing it's attractiveness.
