@shopaholic: Thanks for reminding me of that RCM note. I recall thinking at the time I first read it that the reason the releases would continue until 2020 was so that the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII could be commemorated. I didn't expect the RCM to issue WWI coins past their centennial anniversaries. Oh, well! Wrong again! Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

What the heck lol, that has to be the worst looking one of the series. Plus still 12500 mintage, yikes, it has loser written all over it sorry to say. They should have left all the mintages at 5000 and then it would have been a series worth continuing to collect. |
