Quote: Frankly, I'm getting extreme coin fatigue. It's all just too much to the point that I can't even look at buying the mask coins. I know what you mean, but this year I really pulled in the reins so to speak from buying too much from the RCM but This Mask set is worth opening up my pocket book again if only open for a shot time...

Quote: From CC-Ottawa: ...Frankly, I'm getting extreme coin fatigue. It's all just too much to the point that I can't even look at buying the mask coins. They're nice looking, low mintage, not ridiculously priced (in comparison to other coins) yet I have zero interest simply because there are too many coins being offered and well, next week might bring something even better. For better or for worse, I've been suffering from "extreme coin fatigue" for several months. I quite understand CC's explanation for this malaise. I will be passing on the March selection, as I did for the previous three months' offerings.

Quote: Go for it.
You know why? If you like these finishes on the same coin and do not own any other masks, it will be easily to "own and display" the set as unit. As for example: I have 3 masks + "Totem Forest" coin and filling by them 5-coin box, so basically awaited just for one mask to have the theme "complete". Now suddenly 3 arrived...organizing issue.
Btw: according to above, as per now, I think that I will enjoy having only one out of three (+ COA). If someone thinking in the same direction (will be satisfied with one or two coins) - let me know, please. Great advice Silveroid. I really do like the finish, and haven't been too excited about what's been released for some time. I'm still just not able to pull the trigger on this one and I don't know why. This is the first thing I've liked in quite some time so it should be a no brainer. As for the feeling of coin fatigue, I'm feeling it too (which is why I've been so silent on the boards). Taking a break has helped immensely and focusing on what started my joy of coin collecting (circulation and coin roll hunting) has also helped. I wish the RCM would just slow it down instead of flooding the market with every single thing they can think of. Seeing so much makes me less likely to purchase anything, even if I like it

Feeling much empathy for those of us who are holding off on desired offerings, sincerely!! The real problem seems to be that the Mint is pumping out too many darn good looking coins...of late...nickels, fish...etc. It's just too hard to keep looking away...I get it. One would muster up the will to be ever so critical at the end of each month on the eve of another batch of potential buys knowing that to cave in too emotionally could get costly... We take the wait and feel approach...and we let the high subside before pulling the trigger as so many like to call it... BUT...now...with our collective guard down...unexpectedly, we are ambushed with a beauty of a set and hurriedly, we are compelled to muster up that same end of the month courage - mid-month. This will not be easy for many of us...moi included. Especially, with this gosh darn awesome mid-month release as silveroid aptly labeled it... It's not right...the Mint is messing with us big time by releasing this unique super low mintage fair priced (wooden box included) irresistible singing moon masks set...when we are unprepared to protect our selves...mid-month. All kinds of treats here in one set...its just so not fair...!!

We shall see I guess as always.

I didn't order those two subscription or the big coins. But the price for this singing moon mask set did make my decision a bit harder. Would be easier to buy it if it's under $300. Nevertheless, I did "caved" in and odered one set

How will you sell separate if it only comes with one COA for all three coins I don't see anywhere in mint's description that there is a COA with each coin I know they have a slot for it in the box but that does not mean anything they are generic boxes.

I guess he/she can have them graded and sell each individually. But then again, Angus Coin has been selling the silver dollar from the silver proof set

My guess, it comes with 3 COAs. The cases are generic only outside, inside pattern changes. I never saw box (for coins) with some not necessarily slot or something. In addition - but it me only - I would be satisfied with one coin only (since I know that it geniuine), and might think sell two others with the COA + box. Edited: removed about other coins. Just good to see, how RCM did a small try..

Ya some people only might want the enamel coin etc and dont care about COAs (I personally wouldn't but eh)
But if you look at the box it shows slots for 3 COAs, I guess we wont know until someone has it in hand.

Did someone "jump" on the offer : "Discover China - 1/2oz Fine Silver 6 pieces Medallion Set"Offer by RCM, but minted by China. Presented in the "high quality" red box + handmade "terracotta warrior" statuette included. Finish looks like Proof. Mintage : 5000 units **Very liked "Panda" medallion - wish the Chinese Panda coin have this design. **"Dragon" is amateur **Other are OK.

Quote: RCM "helps" to distribute, minted in China. (Chinese Mint or Bank I guess). These are medallions (no face value), I think they are just being minted by "some (likely private) mint in China", similar to those gold plated copper "Chinese Lunar Calendar Medallion Set" the Mint carries.
