I have never found one. I always look for them in my change! I find lots of 1991 pennies, not worth anything though.

1991 quarters are extremely hard to find in circulation. I have never found one. But in the last 5 years I have found nearly 40 silver quarters and 8 x 1970 quarters.

honesty denny I wouldn't do it, the coins seam to be in low demand and every where I look the dealers here have them but cant sell them. now imagne that problem with a roll...even if each coin is worth $25 you would be hard pressed to drop them for $10...and that's assuming you even bust the roll. even though its a key date there seems to be a sufficient amount for the people interested.

if you really want it I would try to get it for $300 by myself, crack it and send in the nicest ones then try my luck with the rest on ebay, sell them off, use them as trade here or find a dealer who will give you a fair price either per coin or for the remaining lot, theres always a demend for higher grade key dates...

Whether I did half or all I would still look to move half of them to cut down my finacial investment a bit. I know I dont need 40 of them.

I found several over the years, but the first one was in 1993 when I bought a can of pop from a vending machine that gave me 25¢ change from my loonie. I recall doing a 1993 version of a 'happy dance' immediately while at the vending machine, and almost forgot to grab the can of pop out of the drop bin.

@denny don't buy them a very bad deal at $400. At the Portland ANA a dealer had rolls available for $300 US no takers ($approx. $380 CDN)

Thanks Pacificoin, I'm still weighing it . The guy has six rolls so they aren't disapearing all that fast. I may try to work him down on his price first. It would just be nice to have a couple MS ones.

Agreed.I think they were snatched up 20years ago and sellers sat on them till recently. I turned down one for 15.00(can) yesterday. Try to talk em down for 1,I think you'll get what your after with that purchase.
