1994 USA Penny Error / Circled D - Very Interesting

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/05/2015 01:34 am It is progressive from split plating-zinc rot and circulation: The split happens during the strike. Then air get to the zinc and begins to make it raise and deteriorate the zinc core. Then the circulation flattens the zinc rot and flattens. Then the plating falls off when the area is affected around the mint mark. Yours is almost there. Report this Post to the Staff
