More of the same. This is a safe community. There should be less fear in making a mistake and folks shouldn't feel singled out. What is unfortunate is we live in a society that preys on having victims and creating rank and file. This has lead to protective posturing and feelings of inadequacy where neither are warranted. Luckily CCF provides a safe place to ask questions and be open. To a larger extent anyway.

My post concerned an unusual die crack. I was taken to task and reprimanded by the Moderator of the forum for posting "garbage." Needless to say I have no plans to return to that forum! I like it here and have never run into that kind of thing on this forum. I thank everyone for that!

That's great to hear Pete. Living is learning so if you can't learn and modify theories about things then no personal growth is possible. None of us are born knowing everything but each of us is born with a yearning for learning. Only the destructive forces around us can curb our enthusiasm for learning. The moderator in the other forum is a destructive force.
Tiff's example is commonly contributed by each of us; here at CCF or in other aspects of our lives. If we let the destructive forces win then we as a world population lose. As with many here, lose-lose scenarios are as unwelcome as they are unwanted. It is my hope that those who have been victimized by the 'destructors' lose their inhibitions to post their thoughts and questions freely. I'll also add that those who have destructor tendencies read this thread and self assess; should I change for the better or should I leave? Either would suit me but I would hope that they would take the opportunity to grow and be a contributing member in this community...and beyond.

By the way, I have been informed that the moderator of the other forum posted an apology and deleted the post. I was not around to see it, but that is good to know. At least, perhaps a little progress was made in that moderator moderating his tone. I do appreciate everyone here and the contributions which are made. I notice sometimes the same thing is said over and over in response to different posts. That speaks to me of a great deal of patience with folks like me who might be a bit of a slow learner!
