Two Middle Date Large Cents For Attribution And Grading

GERMANICVS Pillar of the Community Germany 1856 Posts	Posted 04/04/2015 11:55 am Would appreciate any help with attribution of those Two Cents. The 1830 has an peculiar ring around the inner beading on obverse. The 1827 is a bit rough, and the reverse has more than likely been cleaned. Your comments are appreciated. Celticsoul Pillar of the Community United States 1566 Posts	Posted 04/04/2015 7:20 pm Both are great coins. I've been focusing on the middle dates lately so I've been studying up on them. The 1830 N-1 R.1 is a great coin and a solid EAC 15. 1830 N-1 R.1 15/15. The 1827 N-11 R.1 has less wear than the 1830 but has slight porosity. You claim it may have been cleaned but in my opinion all large cents have been cleaned at least once. If it has it's retoned nicely. My grade for this coin is VF-20 sharpness net graded to EAC 15. 1827 N-11 R.1 20/15. Always a joy to see your copper GERMANICVS. Report this Post to the Staff
