It depends on what you want to keep and why. 01P not intended for circulation but they made 21 million, so I doubt this will ever carry much of a premium. 2002-present are all very low mintages not intended for circulation. I probably would keep any of those. Keep 64 P&D, 65, 66, 67, 68D, 69D, 70D, 87P, 87D.
After that, you might consider keeping higher condition of the following (copied from my earlier post):
The toughest coins to find, based on the compiled analysis of the coin by coin details given by many CCF members and combined by me:
78 78D 79D 81D 82P 82D 85P 86P 88P 89P 90D 91D 93P 99P 99D 00P 01D
Of these the toughest are: 78D 79D 81D 82P 82D 85P 93P 00P
All of these can be found in circulation, but condition for many of these is terrible, probably due to casino use. So if you find nicer condition, maybe keep those or sell them.

I had my son order $500 worth of halves from his bank, seems the lady was a new teller so she had to write a note to ask/order someone about it. She said there might be a cost for this, I hope its not a huge cost but I am soooooo excited to get what I need. (abt.90 halves for 2 circulated sets)
I will let you know what I come up with, she said it may take a few weeks

I'll cash these back in Saturday, and try try again. Was excited to get some good finds, then nothing ;( Happens...
Lucky, it took me 2 days from the time I ordered to the time my box came in, few weeks is ridiculous especially if they are going to charge you. I'd definitely talk to them about that.

Just got through reading this entire thread; wish I had read it earlier! In between boxes of nickels for my nickel project I would search some cent boxes, but didn't have the $500 on hand to buy a half box. I'd get some customer rolls here and there (with pretty good success; 12 90% and 46 40% out of approximately $700 total in halfs) but I really wanted to try a bank box.
Finally got it today! Was all excited; found NOTHING! Probably had been extensively searched, as I found a few marked with black Sharpie. Anyway, next box I will keep track of what I find for this thread. I'll probably order another, especially based on what I've read here. Seems the silver is still out there!
Good luck to everybody!

I have now searched just under $2200 face in halves. My finds so far are:
11 90%, 2 of which were Franklins 33 40% 3 proofs (69s,73s,83s)
I feel pretty good about my finds but am now frustrated because I have worked 3 boxes and 2 of them were entirely brand new 1996p halves. I have another waiting for me at the bank and I'm just dreading opening it up and finding those shiny brand new coins gleaming at me. If I'm not mistaken my purchase bank uses brinks and my drop bank uses loomis. My drop bank is the only one in town that I know of that has the free coin counter right out there for the customers to use. Any ideas?

checked 150 bucks worth today and the prevailing coin...71 and 2000. 5 rolls of the year 2000 which makes me ponder that maybe me wastes too time much looking behind someone else in the area...trying a new area next week

I picked up the last box at the bank and......it's 96p halves again! (durn!) And to add insult to injury, I found out today that my purchase bank and drop bank are both Loomis (rats!) I asked at another bank I frequent what armored service they used and it was Loomis also. I'm going to try a few other banks Monday and see if I can find a new source bank.
Anyone want to buy some bright shiny new Kennedy 96p halves? Anyone? I wonder just how fast I can open $500 in Kennedys? rofl

received my $500 bag of Kennedy yesterday, I went through them all already. Wow what a job sorting them. Good news is I pretty much filled my Kennedy allotment, even better news is I found 3 walkers in the bunch! I needed 90 coins to fill my 2 folders and the rest go back to the bank today. I ran a tally of what I came across for the roll hunters. I will post later

I have been searching through rolls for the past 9 months. I have had the best luck with rolls that have been left by bank customers versus the "pre-wrapped" roles. To date I have found a little over $250 in silver clad and about $50 dollars in 90% silver halves. Most of those have been Frankilns. I also got a 1908 Barber and a handful of Walking Liberties.
