What's impressive is the volume of it.

Quote: I have one myself, but one of the plastic sliders is almost like superglued in place, and all the sliders on the last page are missing. These seem to work for the Dansco, perhaps they will work for yours as well... https://goccf.com/t/191855#1885611

I'm running into that issue with the plactics too. Some albums have also been filled for so long I can't pop coins out without a modicum of force ... No pun intended. On a THIS IS FUN note, I've been speed filling album holes with the piles of coins I have in those littleton cellophane squares. I think I'm hooked on albums but unsure of the continuing fun if I had to fill them buying one at a time

Filling holes, even just one at a time, is fun.

Funny you say that kairu. I've always thought danscos look kinda like old bantam louis L'Amour books from the 60s.

I'm amazed at the size of the hoard. I presume you're going to be allowed to select some of the material as compensation for executing the coin portion of the estate, then sell the rest on. I recommend you start to sell it piecemeal, your town may not be able to absorb the entire lot all at once, affecting the return to the estate. Might think about auction, too, folks can go nuts for this kind of stuff.

Absolutely stunning collection. This is a once in a lifetime find. You got any Barber half dollars they are one of my favorites. I may be hopefully soon appraising a family friends collection that he has had for years ( his stuff from a kid and his fathers stuff) he told me there is 3 ammo boxes filled to the top with coins....he told me he found an 1820 penny and he was gonna clean it.....I screamed no! Don't clean it ever.....hopefully there is some great stuff in there....he wants to sell it all....help pay for his daughters college.....if I find any awesome coins when I do go through it or acquire any for myself I will make a thread to show the finds....Awesome inheritance cascade.

Even though this may be "quantity" over "quality".....so what? THIS is a coin collector's DREAM of being able to soak all of this in. Little, if any, are in circulation any more.
Applaud the owner for collecting and to Cascade to be trusted with going through all of this.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING! .......and please continue to share!
