And what would the grades be on my Kennedy's? BTW I also inherited around 8 Franklin halves from my grandmother as well. Hmm come to think of it I have all 3 of the 20th century Half dollars Walking Liberty half dollar Franklin half dollar and Kennedy half dollar. Report this Post to the Staff

Coins only dull over time from circulation, so if you have a proof and business strike that has never circulated, both will be shiny. The difference is how they are shiny; for example, the proof will have mirrored fields. Proof coins also have sharp edges and squared rims.
