I feel as tho there is some sarcasm behind your good luck comment, but I appreciate the luck either way!!

I wasn't disagreeing with you, nor was I saying your advice was bad. I absolutely agree something of this value SHOULD BE certified. All I was saying, is that it is not worth the time, effort, and money to certify the coin. You have to agree, that sending to U.S TPG'S is a PITA. Now ICCS/CCCS is a different story but of course you know, an ICCS flip is as good as last weeks newspaper to a U.S buyer..

And if you are referring to the 2 gentleman I think you are that are Calgary dealers, (SW & RK), then yes....outstanding gentleman, that I highly respect....
Unfortunately, neither are submitting anything.

For the OP, you could send to an auction house such as Great Collections and they will take care of the certification for you and auction it. Great collections will even give you a cash advance. I have used them to auction many of my coins and recommend them.

They will also give you their opinion if it is worth sending to CAC, and if so will take of that for you also.

I'll echo jimbucks comments regarding Great Collections. Their fees are very reasonable and with the leg work they do, you can't go wrong. My honest opinion, knowing it is a problem coin, is that you have a $750 USD coin retail once authenticated by a major TPG.

Auction house is definitely an option, but again brings me to the time issue, and hassle of shipping the coin in circles...
I'm looking to flip this coin as quick as possible, to move on to other items. I will be reintroducing $500-$5000 coins soon, MOST OF which will be sold raw, and given the way things are going, I feel little need for TPG'S, especially U.S ones... (I may consider sending a batch to ICCS in the future)..
The entire reason for posting the coin here is to get a solid grade opinion, which turns out, the piece was under graded, and tagged at G6...so I appreciate everyone's help in uncovering the pieces actual grade!!

Although, I really don't feel $900-$1100 U.S is enough to consign, especially knowing I can find a buyer myself. I don't see myself consigning anything, anytime soon, unless something ground breaking turns up, and I don't have the exposure to find a buyer..

Unless I get a decent offer through basic word-of-mouth, I will most likely put the coin up on the ol ebay...raw.

Any thoughts on the best possible ebay route? Ie. BIN or auction?
