Great Classic Head. They are a difficult series to collect, mostly because of surface issues.
This is an example of Sheldon variety S-284 characterized by the T in LIBERTY being low and to the left. On the reverse the point of the fifth leaf is under the outer edge of the D in UNITED. The rarity designation for S-284 is R.3 (scarce).
This is a smooth planchet with no corrosion which is a plus.
I will grade it at AG-3.
1810 S-284 R.3 3/3.
