Capital Plastics has also manufactured holders for medals, like the complete sets of bronze and silver medals that were sold at the 1962 Worlds Fair:

Amazing how nice these holders look.
I wonder if there is any way to make engraved letters in a sheet of plastic like this at home without buying industrial machinery (or spending a week with a Dremel and small bit)?

I have been working on a set of MS Washingtons...well, for a very long time. I will pick up a couple more next month.

Those are awesome, Debrajc! I need to look for those holders and either empty out my Dansco album, or start fresh.

Thanks Captain! Your medals are REALLY nice. As are the other pics on this thread! There are some great ones! I'm not sure who makes this holder, but I never collected the SBA's so I picked this one up (coins included) at a coin show. Not as much fun as filling the holders yourself but I made an exception with this one. Keep the pics coming

I noticed Debrajc's SBA set was the same blue color as the one I posted and contains the same dates, but the words on the holder are a little different. It's surprising the variety of these plastic holders. But, I agree, that's a sweet set, Debrajc; plus by buying it intact, you didn't have to struggle placing all the coins inside the holes and then messing with the plastic screws!

I at the Commemorative set and saw the other SBA blue holder captain....which is what made me dig mine out, I just didn't realize that was your post as well. This is a great thread and I enjoyed all the pics!

Here's a couple Lincoln Cent sets I assembled today. I used the black Capital holder for the uncirculated cents and the white holder for the proofs.

Since the thread awakened, I thought I would share this. Obviously, I need to call Wizard about screws; thanks for mentioning that option.
