I hope to retain platinum status as we approach the 150th anniversary of Canada. I suspect there may be some excellent coins released in 2016 and 2017. Then again, I may be totally wrong!

On 1st July, they reseted to zero and it's very clear in my session at the Mint website that my MC member expires on 26th July 2015. All masters club memberships now expire on July 1st now. They are no longer using the system where everyone's membership expires 1 year after reaching the minimum amount to become a member (at the lowest level). It's possible that yours expires on July 26 of this year only if you haven't spent the minimum amount in the last 12 months. For example, if a purchase you made on July 25 2014 entered you in to the club, and you haven't spent $1000 since, it likely expires July 26 2015.

Just received my welcome package to the MC Platinum level in the mail today. Brochures and pamphlets outlining the platinum status benefits.

@coinsplus Wondered what happened to those welcome packages. Thought they were supposed to go out in July. I haven't received my MC platinum level package yet.

I also received my welcome package around 9th July, or at least that was when the letter was dated. In the letter, it mentioned the free coin will be a 1oz Scallop-shaped coin.  I wondered if the scallop-shared coin being advertised in CA's newsletter is the one the Mint is going to give out.  http://www.icontact-archive.com/thB...cJiwE9Li?w=1The time is about right, it is fall now, isn't it? Except that the goose coin in CA's newsletter is not really 1oz, it is only 26.7g, the usual size of a scallop coin. |

You must be a higher level MC. No free coin mentioned in my welcome package (Gold). The letter is dated July 9th but it was delivered at least two weeks after that.

i am master's club platinum, and no mention of a free coin either, just the special collectors box, will be free.?

Silverwolf same here. Platinum membership no mention of a free coin. Just a RCM collector case to ship Winter 2016. Another whole year to wait. |

You have to spend $5000+ a year to qualify for the free coin.

Its called "Platinum Plus".
As mentioned above you had to have spent $5,000 or more to obtain it.
