The gold and silver designs are incredible and the half will make a nice younger collectors package. But yes, lets see how they come out.

The dino on the reverse...did they have to make it a male?

Actually, both female and male dinosaurs from the Saurischia order (which all bipedal carnivores including the half dollar's dinosaur) have a pubis bone.

Wow. As a collector and lover of commemorative coins, I have to say, the dollar and half are depressing.
Good looks nice though.

Hopefully the Twain commem designs aren't this bad.

I'm a little disappointed in the designs. But, I will keep a 'wait and see' attitude.
