I was hovering over on cointalk they're saying this is one of their biggest postcount threads!.. This release has been awesome in the most literal since of the word!

Yeah same with Mintnewsblog it appears the only thread topic with a larger count than this was the 2011 ASE set. Pretty cool the biggest thing in four years it seems.

It was (is) a cool issue but it does not even come close to being the thread with the most posts here and the two other forums I follow... Maybe those two forums are not that active...Cointalk has a total of 70 posts on this topic and, for comparison, "Should Doug give me a like" has 86

well I just received my three sets from my mailman. one of the reverse proofs has an 1/2+ inch die crack just above the "I" in "in god we trust". not complaining just stating the fact. I like the look of the reverse proofs. the finish on the silver medals is not very good in my opinion, but I bought the sets for the reverse proof Truman dollars.

They probably went through all the bad orders and released the balance. I'd say that's all we're ever going to see. Congrats to anyone who picked one up this morning.
Just shows that the remind me button is useful.

OldSkool... I had this set to remind me - and never got any update from the mint. I just stumbled across these being available when I visited the mint this morning.
So far the olny time the remind me button on the mints site has worked is when a new issue is being released. I have never gotten a notice any other time.

Isn't 17,000 an extremely small number to fatigue a die to the point of cracking? Or are RP dies more fragile?

So I think the way it works is this. there's someone at the mint that reviews the previous days fulfillment. Once they have it all figured out, they re release the balance to the order entry system. If so, this would be a good person to know.
