I like the 25k limit for all...problem being is that they probably have the 17k all ready to ship and if they decide at the last minute to up the mintage then that 8k additional will be backordered forever..
It would be MUCH easier for them to just drop the HH limit..but...I have never see a HH limit of 3 (or 2) for anything....it is either one or five....one would be a pain but would definitely prolong sales until it is lifted

Are these returns or cancellations they keep releasing?

I would think CC issues...or someone trying to use another HH member to order over the limit... I doubt if returns would be already sent back, received, processed, repackaged and be ready to go. Not to mention the fact that it would be a bit lame to return ANY of these...just sayin'

Fox, in reading other forums there are some ppl who wanted to return sub pAR sets and of coarse were advised against it but that says to me that there ARE going to be returns, however modest

I doubt anyone is returning these sets no matter how bad they might look.

I missed the initial sale but got my 5 over the weekend :) Now to grade or not to grade? That is the question. Might as well join the 70 lottery.

Yup, agree, and that would be lame I have four sets with dollars that won't been taking a ride to Florida BUT they will reside in Massachusetts until I decide to sell them. I have no issues with selling them with proper descriptions. I have done this with many spotted 2006 20th Annie RP ASE's and NONE have been returned..and...they usually sell for a respectable price Collectors do NOT like surprises...but they WILL buy coins that are not perfect

Just an FYI....sealed box of 5 sold yesterday for just north of $860
Last 10 raw set sales were at $150 or a tad above..interesting to see what these will do in a couple of weeks after the "I gotta pay my credit card" people finish dumping their raw sets....17,000 is NOT a lot of sets especially when HSN sucks up (and sells) almost a thousand of those
There is still not a decent supply of graded coins to say where these are going...

For everyone thinking a FS/ER is still meaningless and won't garner much of a premium, I just read this article and the numbers DON'T lie (sure it's a gold coin but this is only to highlight the premium a same grade FS label will garner) and this was almost half the mintage of truman http://www.numismaticnews.net/artic...s-on-the-wayQuote:"For collectors wanting to start a set of reverse proofs, the most expensive coin in the lineup is the 2006-W one-ounce reverse proof gold Eagle. With a mintage of just 9,996, a collector can expect to pay at least $2,500. Latest ebay sales show they sell infrequently on the site with a PCGS Prf-70 example going for $3,350 on May 15 and a PCGS Prf-70 First Strike designated coin selling for $5,811 on June 2."

For one of the sets that I bought on 07/3/2015 (I bought 3 more and the rest shipping) it still says "PROCESSING." I contacted the mint and they basically said nothing. Should I be concerned. It was paid for with a gift card so there shouldn't be a problem with payment. I just find it odd especially considering that they have put a few back up on sale periodically.

Yeah I am happy the cheaper sets were gobbled up now that my lonely set was listed. Now it is at 148.50 with 2 days left so who knows? Still have two sets left though one to keep for me and the other to keep at least to see where this coin is going and possibly sell together later as a set with the other RP dollars... if I can get them. Next time though maybe I will hold on to all my RP dollars and wait a little bit at least until the listings on ebay get cleaned up. Interesting stuff to watch!

Interesting so on ebay I typed in Truman coin and chronicles and Truman reverse proof dollar into the "See what it is worth" search and they came up as avg selling prices of 166.10 and 170 respectively. That seems to be higher than what the single set prices have been but probably because of the graded coins coming in the $200's.

Ya, they must be averaging out all sales from the start plus graded... This experience is awesome and a thrill not quite replicated with classic collecting imo. For 2 weeks now iVE been on an awesome extended endorphin high that even a 4 figure monster morgan buy couldn't produce
