Can't tell if you're serious, but at $101 per set, that's still a real nice profit if you can sell each for $150+. Good luck. I did buy a couple extra to try to offset the expense of the one I intend to keep. I don't do a lot of ebay selling -- is it best to list them now or wait until they're in hand?

No I'm kidding celtic. I'm happy with my 3 although I will be getting 5 each of the rest. This has been fun. I was hovering on the mod set but decided not to regretfully. This one had much more "energy" to it. I mean it was strong and palpable. Can't wait to see if these rise or fall a year from now

What's the chances of getting errors on these. I assume major ones are out due to bwing packaged the way it is but could strong clashes or clips or large Greaser etc get by?

At 17k and special treatment... I'm guessing there won't be much of a chance of errors.

I'd wait til Xmas to even consider selling one of my sets and I'd only consider selling one of each issue as the coins will probably be on the top 100 modern coins lists. These sets will be hyped at least until the last set is issued so no need to sell now. Better to take one of each set and bundle it with the others.

Are these packaged similar to the MoD coin set? Will the RP's be sent in to TPG and sold separately?

I ordered 3 sets. I sold 1 on ebay already for $150. I intend to sell another either once I get it or later depending what the market looks like. I will keep 1 sealed for my personal collection. Ordering these today was pretty darn exciting, it was like I was a kid at Christmas time. I can't wait for the other sets this year. I hope they don't increase the mintage on the remaining sets.

I only ordered one set. I banked on the March Of Dimes set and bought 5 which seems to have backfired which is why I decided to stay out of the speculation game on this one Anyone want to interpret this from the mint? Does the no mintage limit mean that the mint can release as many RP dollars as they want in other packaging or groupings like a 4 RP president dollar set all in one package in time for Christmas but only 17,000 C & C sets? Item Number: AX1 Mintage Limit: None Product Limit: 17,000 Household Order Limit: 5

Quote: How has the 2015 March of Dimes set backfired? Its still trading at a premium over purchase price Wait til the next batch ships from the mint. The bottom fell out of the Baseball HOF issues and prices were cut in half when the second batch shipped. $100 seems to be the going rate today (which is $15 profit after fees and shipping) 2-3 weeks ago $125 was the going rate. $95 was the going rate during the first 2 weeks of initial release. Anyone look at the Baseball HOF gold and silver recently? Unsold Buy It Now slabbed 69's in gold listed as low as $550. Silver dollars Buy It Now listings as low as and actually sold ones going for $55.

You're comparing commemoratives to a set that has two key coins that are need to complete series that circulates (plus a bonus commemorative dollar). That's apples and oranges in my opinion. I think the MOD set is a good long term purchase. If someone wants to complete the Roosevelt dime series, they'll need the set. I think these RP Presidential dollars are a good purchase too for the same reason.

A release of 17,000 makes these scarce even for a relatively unpopular series like pres dollars. Fifty years from now, collectors will be amazed that we were even able to own them.
I just hope the mint doesn't rethink the numbers for the next three.
