The Queen?

I believe that's correct!

Queen Elizabeth II will become the longest reigning British monarch on the evening of September 9, 2015.

Get ready for a long list of commemorative coins to be released by Canada and other countries of the Commonwealth.

Thanks for the reply, mts and commems. I saw the picture of a "A Historic Reign" coin on ebay. I guess that is the one for this purpose. Hope that is not the only one as I think the design is a bit to plain and lazy. The Mint should engrave the maples instead of just printing them with colour.

Yes, correct.
I think it will have not a bad resell value, due to attractive design.
It somehow reminds the design (Aphrodite's face and hair) of some bullion SBSS rounds.

Hope, you loading up with Aphrodite....some sources, haven't been revealed coin yet, like The Coin Shoppe, Silvertowne, CA...

But actually things a re clear - design is good, and it "hot". Almost zero effort needed to place an order for CAD 200 and do some copy-paste work to sell it for CAD 300.
Be aware: there are 2 Aphrodite coins - one from Perth Mint "medalic" series and the second - coin from Burkina Faso.

means, CA will wait a bit, for another price rise.

When the first Australian God coin issued, they had "Australian coins sale", and mistakenly the coin has been listed directly in the "sale" section, for CAD 106 instead CAD 160 issue (this is the coin, that later increased to 400 everywhere).....no need to mention, that people were pleased to get some amount.
Well, the money went to the RCM at the end...

It was serious mistake...even not typo, but in pricing catalog. And they honored it (have no idea, how many in total they sold for this price).

Btw...interesting to visit Perth Mint website
together with RCM they experience lack of ideas, but want to grab a money
looks like they have some "Hollywood licence":
Star Trek now, and
21 October 2015 will be issued "Back to the future coins"

and what next - "Mars attacks!" or some other not bad comedy?

New Lotus shaped coin from RCM:

2015 $20 Canada Goose - Master of the Sky Fine Silver Coin

Royal Canadian Mint first non-lunar, scallop-edged fine silver
Mintage 6.000

http://www.colonialacres.com/produc...xempt-147395

Sells for issue at CA!
will be next hit, or still better to continue to load up with Aphrodite, Star Trek (looks like this forgotten as all "hits") and Odin coins?

C/A seem to have jumped the gun on this 2016 A Historic Reign Silver Maple Leaf Fractional Set.

http://www.colonialacres.com/produc...xempt-146734

I don't see it on the Mint website nor was it in the advance notice e-mail from my rep so likely part of the Sept 9th special release.

Looks good. Too bad about the price.

They've could do a bit more effort, by engraving different queen effigy on each of the coins in the set. And packaging - something less standard.
