This past week's circulation of $2 bills at my farmers markets and in general was down thanks to the holiday to $632. We keep getting them back as payments too, so that does exactly what I want - circulates them! I got 6 back at the markets this week at least.

Funny story...

First, spent $10 refilling my account at work for the vending company... The machine takes two dollar bills...

Watched three guys play a game with dollar bills where you hold them out and drop them at the same time... If yours lands face up and the others don't you win the other bills...

Well the one that landed face up landed by my feet and I picked it up I noticed that the serial number was a radar so I offered the winner a $2 bill for it and he REFUSED saying he already had a bunch of two's in his drawer and didn't want anymore... The guy could have made an extra dollar and he turned it down...

He told me if I got two ones that he would trade me one for one... So a buddy gave me two ones and I got the radar bill for face value... So with the $10 dollars and the two I traded for two ones I spent $12 at work last night...

I also spent $20 for lottery tickets...

$32 total

Spent $18 today in TJ bills at three different retail establishments. I got two "Oh, these are cool" from younger folks, and one "I haven't seen one of these in awhile" from a gentleman my age (mid-50s). The reactions are fun to watch. ;-)

$25,688 to go... * corrected total
