Spent $100 in lovely two-dollar bills all over town the past couple of weeks.

Most interesting response from a cashier: "I don't think we can take two dollar bills! There's no place to put them!" (A coworker explained that they put them under the drawer.)

This past week we used $424 in $2 bills for my farm - farmers markets and some bill paying. This week's vegetable of the week is Kyoto Red Carrots, a delicious heirloom variety from Japan that is indeed a red carrot. Quite good flavor. reasonably vigorous plant and excellent raw or cooked. In a saute, they give a really cool coloration. This week there were two half dollar San Francisco proof coins and a 1993 Silver Proof too! I felt lucky indeed. These are going into the collection even if they are not PF70 coins, lol.
