Spent 9 $2's on a brake line for my truck. Thank goodness Toyota offers prebent brake lines. I don;t think any other auto manufacturer does that. It wasn't cheap for a 4 foot line but hopefully ti will save me the hassle of bending and flaring a generic straight line.
Spent 6 $2's at the beer store.

I am surprised at how few people are posting on this thread. I know that it was hard to find, but still does this mean fewer people are circulating $2 bills lately? I was talking to the vault teller at the bank and she was noting they stock about 15% the amount of cash that they did 20 years ago. I know this is dramatically affected by the decline in local businesses ever since the outlet malls, Walmart, Target, etc. came in and killed the local downtowns and so much other business, but still it is an interesting statistic. Well, over the last four weeks I circulated more $2 bills than usual per week, $2790 in that time since my last posting. I guess I really am serious about use of the $2 bills and half dollars! $38,058 to go

$20 dollars for 2 rolls of Kennedy halves, which I gave one each to my niece and nephew, with 1 64 Kennedy and a few 40% halves planted in each. I told them to look each coin up because some of these coins, wink wink, could be treasure made out silver. They loved it. $4 I gave each a $2 bill Total: $24 $37970 minus $24 =$37946

Spent 9 $2's at the beer store.
The cashier asked what I was doing with them (as I usually spend halves and dollar coins)
I told her I was mixing it up trying to educate the public and that they still make $2 bills.

Got a 2 in change at the LCS after popping in for some bullion stash. Used it at the tobacco store to get smokes on the way home. Clerk was on the phone at the time... He actually put the phone down and studied the bill for a few seconds, looks up at me with amazement and says "a 2!?! I havent seen one of those around in a looonnggg time"!
That thing went in his pocket as soon as I was out the door... Bet! lol
