The gold superman has a mintage of 2000 if I remember right, I think the most important point is this coin is in good hands and as I've said before most mc couldn't care about a 500 to 600 profit but we sure don't want to have every coin loose value every six months.

Silveroid "The price is slowly climbing up".
Might be some potential sellers are waiting.
And the dealers? They also will probably try to catch the peak."

This coin went in to the right hands (mostly) of the collectors who appreciated it so they aren't selling.
Dealers were allocated a very small amount.

Time will only tell I guess

I don't know about that. The MC members selling on ebay right now are letting it go for $300 to $500 profit.

Every collector have different tastes. On the other forum, someone was selling his coin for $400 because he did not collect silver dollars.

Also, some collectors have more than one. I am sure they are willing to let go one of them if the price is right.

Besides, many MC members are sellers/dealers too.

When the first gold superman gold coin, there was some delivery issues but lots of flippers were on ebay all through it's huge run up, this coin with the lack of listings kind of shows the coins are in collectors hands but who knows those ten kilo gold buyers could have a 100 of this coin each.

Agreed most who have this coin will retain it for their collection as a unique coin to a series.
Most of us are guilty of some form of greed.

As I post there are are only 4 listed on ebay. Quite different from other series/coins I've watched.

As I said in the other forum, at first, I was determined to sell it as soon as I received it. The reason being is I don't collect silver dollar. I received the coin on Friday and I liked it. I decided I'll keep it for now :)

John100 - "At some point the insane price will kick in" Maybe this is Apple at 9.00 but we can't buy more.

same here, I saw this and purchased this instead of drusy stone, which I returned, considering this was a MC exclusive and 2oz for $190 instead of 1oz drusy stone for $160, but with these high prices and when the 10k tuition is due, I will end up selling this. I like the coin, but just dont like it enough compared to how much I would like $800+

I missed it when the Mint was selling it and I am collecting comm. silver dollars. I will wait a few weeks or even months before buying it. I'm hoping the price will go back under 500$. I just can't see it going up a lot more than it is right now... (fingers crossed)

Massively disappointed with my rep... emailed an order in about 30 hours ago, no response yet. Given the coin is now sold out, not holding my breath.

What irks me: I had the opportunity to buy the coin online when I logged in to check it out about 30 hours ago. I didn't buy online because when I signed up to have a Mint Rep, my former rep asked me "not" to place orders online, and instead, place them with him. I promised I would follow this protocol.

Total mess... and one super p'd off Masters Prestige Member here!

UNBELIEVABLY SURPRISED this afternoon!! Faith in my RCM Sales Representative restored! Owe my rep one HUGE Christmas present. Will leave it at that!

In the next few days the rest of the 45 days since release of this coin, just fill the rest of the mc who wants to order it's intended targets, like I keep saying their dealers doesn't need the other 220 units. For those with reps just call and complain, probably will get one.

I contacted my rep about 2 weeks ago. They said they will see what they can do but didn't think they can get me one. They should keep me posted. Hopefully the 45 days wait might bring something positive.
