Quote: 33 pages are too many for me to read.
lol.
I am going to read now. Starting page one. Read it...it fun Couple of days ago for the fun refreshed the memory reading the start of 1935-2010 Set / Single SD , and 2012 Penny Set. Same story....one of the posters said that "he will pick up it next year for half price". Quote: I wonder if the reason for this is due to people just receiving the coin or people are jumping in to flip the coin now the price of the coin have skyrocketed. With these prices, imo, even the person die hard collector, it's OK to "rush and re-sell" the coin. Might be not for all of us , but spare CAD 400 it serious money, and no 2oz silver coin worth to "hold it", if you prefer the cash in hand, specially in Christmas period.

I'm sure on day 45 once the dealers start to flog their 220 coins the price will drop for a while.

On normal issues large RCM dealers will have well in excess of 220 units, but surely more on the market depresses price.

But even on the D-45-th the Dealers will be free to release the 220 units, they will never put all their inventory for sale..... but by batches, increasing price gradually to be above the current market prices.

When is D-45?
The price of the coin won't be at issue price when D-45 comes. It would be at the current market value.

Dealers cannot advertise or sell this coin until December 23, 2015, but from what I understood a very very small portion went to the dealers. https://goccf.com/t/244847&whichpage=18#2064235

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO SELECT COINS "One of the exciting new features of the Masters Club is our commitment to designing and producing three low mintage coins each program year that are made with Masters Club members in mind. With each release, you'll get an exclusive 45-day period in which to purchase the coins. At least 90% of the mintage for each coin will be reserved for Masters Club members." http://www.mint.ca/store/mint/custo....VmiTFnpfOrUDecember 24th is 44 days? HoHoHo, guess what's coming to town.....anyone's guess, But is the remainder to be sold by RCM or is it reserved for dealers, we don't know. The dealer/seller on ebay already had the coin in hand, so I don't think it was an advance sale of the reserve. It appeared to me RCM simply is able to hold some clout over dealers in honouring that 45-day commitment, as opposed to not having control over private sellers.

Sorry, 1 day out. It makes NO sense whatsoever if all the orders have not yet been shipped to MC members who already ordered.....instead RCM ships to dealers to sit on?

If the dealers got the 220 allocation, they likely have them on hand already - they just can't sell them until Dec 23rd. And they likely have reserved them for their best in-store customers. At least some dealers will do that. Others will sell to the highest bidder in two week IMO.
BTW, mine shipped today w/ the free holiday set but not with the Flanders coin I added to get over $200. The mint's order fulfillment department really is odd.

Would the 1949 dollar be next. I'm in a quandary whether or not to spent enough to be eligible for purchasing this coin at issue. Especially with how the prices plummet on the secondary market. I really don't want the hassle of finding a bank in my small town to cash coins in. Its basically an image issue, ie people you know wondering why you are ordering mint coins, only to cash them out. Seems like a move from an unstable person to do it repeatedly. It would be different in a large city, where people don't know each other. Also who wants locals to know you collect coins.
Anyone else thinking of bumping up their level to be eligible to purchase next issue. Do collectors think there will be same demand for the next coin. Has the third MC coin been announced yet.

But could turn as 2014 Superman-2. less attractive design, and really not few people plan to do the quick resell.

There was a huge demand for it due to the success of the 2013 coin. I went to J&M Coins in Vancouver to pre-order the coin. They expected about 10 of the coins and they put me on a waiting list. So I went a back few weeks later and they said, sorry, the coins were sold to customers known to the owner.

I agree - 1939 Parliament seems to be the next obvious choice. Personally, I won't be buying a lot of coins just to reach MC gold or platinum again but if I happen to be close at the end of June, I would likely use FV coins to get to the next level. I wouldn't bother doing that to get MC silver because I see no value in it. (Somehow though I expect the Mint to soon exclude FV coins from the MC level thresholds) Had it been clearer last June, I would have spent the <200 to get to the next level but I was showing as platinum right up until July 1st when I suddenly was bumped down to gold. My rep could have made some easy sales by making that point with his customers. That said, I'm a long way away from even MC silver with only 6 months to go. lol

The 1939 dollar will be next and the 3rd MC coin has not been announced. How far away from Gold status are you? It seems you need to be at least Gold tier ($1500)to get a crack at the coin. If you are close to it then its worth it.
