with the advice of MoneyPenney but here same "issue" that we faced with this coin, always existed, and it actually tells you what to do without MC status: Jan 2012: Quote: I heard time and time again that "regular" people can also pre-order the coins. They just need to order by phone instead of online.

I totally forgot about the 1939dollar, I guess it gives another year to see how the sales on these coins go. I'm interested in 1949 1958 1967. I am half way to silver and probably hit silver. its just so disheartening when so few releases retain issue price. I don't know why the mint doesn't strictly through dealers. It would make it a much simpler method. Then its up to dealer to establish a rewards program or offer sales.

Wouldn't it be cool if the Mint put out a Silver 2 ounce Voyageur with a 1948-2016 date on it with a mintage of... wait for it...................18,780 I have a strange feeling that they just might sell out! Any thoughts?

I note that our friend in Wisconsin is now selling his 9th Voyageur coin. Where is he getting them from?

I believe that is the 10th. The 9th sold by the look of it, the COA is now 0110. I think the last one was 0112?

Rg500s. I stand corrected. Now on his/her 10th coin. Dare I say he/she will reach 20 by the end of the weekend.

Finally, my coin is on its way. Ordered it precisely one month ago. Was losing hope, but all good now.:)

My post Dec 6th "Shaking my head at this ebay listing 2219570191573 sold with one left and they are in the midwest USA. How did they get four - maybe an astute buyer. I don't know. Offering a BIN at $667 with free shipping. I've been tracking these on ebay since they were released. Can't see recalling this listing until now." Now the seller has nine sold with one remaining. Their 602 ebay rating looks to be only as a purchaser and not a seller. Questioned them on ebay with an ebay response as follows "The user you are contacting is registered on another ebay site and may speak a different language. Your message will be sent exactly as typed below." I sent a query to ebay. Something is not right.

And he has an ebay store for one listing? Is that normal? If you Google the store name, the ebay listing comes back in Polish (as well as the English version). The store name is not exactly family friendly either. Quite a mystery.

Had to go check out the store name and LOL I think the store name shows up on various ebay country websites. Don't think the user is Polish.

As noted by Rg500s the coin being offered has a COA 0110 and the prior one was COA 0112. Did anyone see the COAs of the earlier ones? If bought on the secondary market from random individual collectors for resale, the odds of having two quite close COAs must be quite low. I have only bought multiple coins a handful of times from the RCM. The COAs were not close at all. Not sure what others have experienced.

Guys, do you suspect the something not right, cause the seller had 10 "hard to get" coins and you basically do not know him...?
Was it same suspicious, if it was some member here or on other site?
It might be, the guy has some connections inside the Mint, some info allowed to him to predict the demand for this coin, and to get the coins with low COAs. Unlike the guy, who bought in 2012 according the rumors, 50 coins of Bateman Moose from one of the boutiques, this seller did well.
I will agree that this unusual, and hope for the buyers, that they will get their coins.

Silveroid, you are quite right. It could be a big US dealer who is bypassing the RCM embargo by selling under the cover of an ebay seller. This dealer may have connections inside the Mint. Like John100 says, maybe this dealer bought a few Kilo Gold coins and as a award the Mint sells him 10 Voyageur coins.
