If sacs looked like that normally people may actually have interest. To me these coins are what they are and if someone enjoys them more power to them. Some of the world mint colorized stuff is actually very eye appealing.

Some of them I like and do own a few. Not the ones with the sticker but actual colorized ones. The Elvis ones tho...don't know what to think of those but for face value....very interesting!

I only like colorized coins when they are produced by the RCM and Perth Mint. Even then, I only like a little color on them. Here's one of my latest colorized purchases: The holiday "baby" animal series is one I actively collect. I still need the baby snake and the new baby monkey. I'm just waiting on NGC PF69 versions to pop up on ebay. Really, I'm just waiting for MCM to get them in.

More ...positive comments than I thought would be posted.
For face value, I thought these were a interesting addition to my collection.
I do like State/ATB quarters .... And I would picked more of the Sac's if they come in.

I hate them.
Coins are meant to last a long time. One of the great appeals to me of coins is that they are the most durable of all antiquities. A colourised coin is, almost by definition, a short term product. The design will probably degrade in a few short years.

Would I pay a premium for these added colours - No.... but would I keep them if they cost face value - certainly :)

I have to say that I have never been a fan of colorized coins, until I got my colorized 2009 Lincoln cents. The colorizations really bring out the details in the design. They are stunning & I love these pennies.

My favorite is "The Railsplitter", (Formative Years). Any coin that has a nickname is a true gem.

This is a first for me. I have never seen a colourized Lincoln Cent.

Color detracts from the beauty and craftsmanship of the metal. The metal is the point -- otherwise it's just a painting.

I like those ... They make cents to me To me As long as your not paying much for them, than I think they are interesting addition to a collection. Not as a substitute for original better grade coins ... Just as a addition. I have rolls and rolls .. And copper mint and proof Lincoln's from 2009. I use colored coins like these to fill the empty holes that some Dansco albums have.

Quote: How could you say no, to saving Elvis from being bank dumped Easy, I don't care for Elvis, and I had to deal with too many Elvis fanatics growing up. Dump em.

At this time in my collecting life, I generally pass on colorized coins NOT MADE IN THE U.S. or CANADIAN MINTS. I do like some I've seen (I especially like ARcoins' Lincoln cents), but most are so-so to me and not worth the added costs. I am, however, a busy buyer of many RCM colored releases. Right now I'm focusing on ALL Canadian quarters, which includes base and colored varieties. I began by buying the yearly Christmas quarters; but my want list has ballooned since. There are some that I don't really like at all (like this year's Batman/Superman quarter) and some look terrific (like last year's poppy quarter), but I plan on adding them all to my collection. The second-hand colorized coins I will pass on, unless something looks ultra nice and is cheap-cheap-cheap.
