tencentpenny Pillar of the Community United States 795 Posts	Posted 05/16/2018 9:18 pm I was looking through some nickel rolls, and found a two headed nickel. It could be a major error coin. I did some research, and there are replicas out there worth $3-$10. If it is a real error, it could be worth $30,000 or more. Basically the nickel has heads on both sides, no building on the back. I plan on taking it to a local coin shop to have it appraised. I am also considering sending it into the professional coin grading service. I am so excited about this find. Did a couple of boxes last Sunday. 26 pre-60s in each one, included 4 War Nickels, a 49-S, 50, a badly thrashed 51-S semi-keys, and 5 2009-Ds. Also found a 2009-P in my 20 rolls searched yesterday. Went through that early year stretch where I was finding in the low to mid-teens in pre-60s, so it is nice to get some boxes with nice numbers of them, not to mention the semi-keys. When I first saw it, I didn't realize it was a proof, and thought, wow, might be full steps on the reverse! Then I realized it was a proof.
