Nice finds, dadscoinhobby, Aristarchus123 and numisma! Quote: One thing that surprised me was that not a single roll was short. MWR nickel rolls seem to rarely be short coins. On occasion, I'll get a roll or two with a cent instead of a nickel, and less ofter a dime instead.

Did a box today, only 14 pre-60s, but one was a 1950 Philly. Also found a 2009-P and 4 2009-Ds.

Nothing to get too excited about, but I managed to snag a beat up War Nickel out of the register today.

CoinCollector2012, Nice find! You don't see many War Nickels in change.

This month has been very unusual for me in terms of CRH. 6,000 nickels searched, and I have yet to find a War Nickel. However, I've found FOUR 2009-Ps including two out of the same batch of 400 MWR from the same bank yesterday (a first time occurence!)... the bank across the street's 400 MWR produced a badly weathered 1936 Buffalo (same teller I got the 1969-D Half from yesterday). Also pictured, my 1950 Philly from a couple of days ago and my 2009-Ps found earlier this month... War Nickels show up for me about every 2,500 coins on average, while 2009-Ps were showing up about every 15,000 coins before this month.

Just finished 3 weeks of nickel box orders! $1700 (17 Boxes) and got a "V" nickel to speak for it! Few War Nickels and missing spots for my Jefferson album. I'm trying to fill 1938-1961 Jeffersons only CRHing. I also found what I believe to be a 1944-P counterfeit War Nickel! Looks plated over copper and has that nickel circulation cameo.

I recently did $76 in nickels. I found a 1942-S World War 2 nickel, a lot of pre-1960 nickels, and a 2009 nickel. It was a great coin hunt for me! I also have about $35 in pennies to look through. I will post those finds in the penny topic area. I will look through at least some of the pennies tomorrow.
