Thanks, jbuck and aristarchus123! I just realized this is also the first year ever I've found TWO 1950-D nickels! Another milestone! I had only found two my entire life until this year.

Thanks, jst1dreamr! Well, I was going through the last of the nickels I bought on 7/11/18 this morning. Machine wrapped rolls from a different branch of the bank I found the 1950-D at... So, I get to the 3rd out of 10 rolls, and I see coin drop out with a "D" mintmark which piques my interest... I can tell right away it is the "old style" Jefferson nickel reverse used from 1938 through 1940... A closer view of it... I'm hoping it is a 1938 or 1939, knowing it's likely a 1940... Well, I flipped it, and flipped out AGAIN! Can you believe that? A 1939-D and a 1950-D found in coins bought the very same day from two different branches of the same bank? Needless to say, I will be hitting said bank hard the next few weeks, hoping to mine more keys! It marks the third straight year I have found a 1939-D... and it is the fourth one I've found in my lifetime. So again, tied with the 1950-D for the hardest to find personally. Oh, and now I am down to the 1938-D Jefferson to complete my Jefferson nickel collection found CRH in 2018... One coin from doing this back-to-back years! I guess you can almost call them twins!

Picked up a box at the bank today and opened a few rolls. In the very first roll, I found a 1938S! That is our 2nd 38S roll hunting, which leaves our 2nd set of Jefferson nickels short 4 coins from completion (1939D, 1942S, 1943D, 1951S). Our main set still has one left to find (1942S).
