John77 Pillar of the Community United States 2944 Posts	Posted 04/24/2021 9:39 pm Bought 2,800 nickels today from 4 different banks - 800 CWR and 2,000 MWR. As you may remember, I found an odd CWR at one of my banks a few weeks ago which had some unimpaired Proof and BU coins. http://goccf.com/t/24785&whichpage=809#3400787 Well, said bank had another similar roll today. This one had FIVE unimpaired Proofs and a bunch of BU coins from the '80s and '90s. The best thing about it is that two of the proofs were hole fillers ('97-S and '98-S) and two ('84-S and '95-S) were upgrades! In total, the 800 CWR only had 3 pre-60 dated coins and no 2009-dated coins, but the five proofs certainly more than made up for those weak numbers... the 2000 MWR were much better in those regards... 20 pre-60s including 1945-P and 1945-S War Nickels, a 1946-S ender, and three 2009-Ds, one of which was also an ender. John77 Pillar of the Community United States 2944 Posts	Posted 04/27/2021 11:18 pm Bought 36 CWR and 33 MWR yesterday... 2760 coins total and found 24 pre-60s, including a 1943-P War Nickel. Also had something happen to me which never had before. While I've found many multiples of Buffalo nickels in CWR (all hoards), I'd never found multiples in a MWR until yesterday... One appears to be a 1916, the other is presently dateless (both are now pickling). Also found 5 2009-Ds. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Also found a 1962 Proof and a single 2009-D. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
