Cheers! Nice, AllSeasons! Just keep pushing... eventually you'll get there. It's a little odd you haven't found a 1944-P yet, but I've seen lots of anomalies in my 7 1/2 years of doing this... For example, during C0VID, I went about 2 years without finding a 1945-P (a coin with a nearly identical mintage to the '44-P)... If things go as "normal" going forward for you, the last three you'll be searching for will likely end up being the '39-D, '43-D, and '50-D... I found these in Loomis rolls that I thought were going to be bad, as they were 80%+ 2023-D's. These rolls had been sitting around for 3 weeks before I opened them, but glad I did. Got 29 rolls after having to pay for a bulk trash dump in cash and all I had was, you got it, rolled nickels for a bank dump. Finally some luck from MWR. 23 finds in 29 rolls including a 50 Groszy (Poland), a 2009 D, a beautiful 1936 P Buffalo and a 1943 P with enough detail to earn an upgrade in the album along with a 1949 P with just a hint of the Ring of Death. Still no 44 D or 50 D but all in all a way better hunt than expected. Report this Post to the Staff
