Hello, everyone.. this is my first post. I hope I am within guidelines posting this topic here. I have an 1895-S Barber quarter with repunched mint mark and I am not exactly sure how to determine the correct value for this variety. I know it commands a slight premium, but it is not a highly sought error, nor is it well-documented. What would be an acceptable method for determining a fair price for such a coin for its grade?

I'm no expert on Barber quarter varieties or how to determine a value for one.

You can always check ebay sold listings and the Heritage Auction archive to see if any of that have sold.

I think for the average (and I don't mean that negatively) collector an RPM is not even on their radar when it comes to Barber quarters. There are Barber quarter variety collectors however I think these individuals are few and far between.

and to the Community. Someone else might have a better answer to your question.
