Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I was wondering what machines ya'll are running, and how do you like them. I started out a LONG time ago with a very simple machine that wouldn't find a car hood if you were standing on top of it . I then did some research and got the Garrett ADS-7 and used that machine for a lot of years before I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the Whites DFX. What a machine that turned out to be. Last year I got the Whites Beach Hunter ID so I can get out in the water for the gold. I'm very happy with the units I have now and don't think I will have to do any upgrading foe quite some time. I am however thinking of getting an Ace250 or a Prizm series machine as a backup, or if someone wants to go hunting with me sometime.

I use a whites Eagle spectrum ,,I bought the machine new ,,the technology was top of the heap at that time and as far as I can tell it rivals the DFX just in a little bigger package .

Whites Prizm 3 is what I use. Only one I ever owned. Really can't compare it to any others but I am happy with it. I did upgrade the coil to get some more depth. I will upgrade somewhere down the road after I get some mileage out of this one.

A White's Pro XL 6000. It's an older model that isn't produced anymore, but it has everything I need. I started about 25 years ago with a Bounty Hunter RB5. I still have that one and use it for the "dirty work".

Garret Treasure Ace 300 for playgrounds and the like. I can tune it down enough to get relativly tight to the posts and such. When I'm hunting open areas I use a Tesoro DeLeon. Great depth. Other than that, Gray Ghost headphones, Vibraprobe pinpointer and a Lesche digger.

I purchased a Garrett GTI 1500...it should be delivered in about an hour via UPS. It's my first detector.
