Fake 1942/1 Overdate Mercury dime

A dealer I know had this 1942/1 comeback counterfeit I picked it up for a few dollar off to take pictures for reference.

It has correct weight.

Just posting this for heads up reference.

Just my opinion but from the picture it looks like the 4 and the 2 looks higher than the 19.

the weight is normal 2.5 grams

From what I can see thats a pretty good counterfeit-took me a bit to actually see any of the differences

Just a comment - this is not an overdate, but an actual doubled die since it was hubbed with a 1941 working hub and a 1942 working hub. Overdates ceased to exist after 1908 in U. S. coinage.
