There can be flat field doubling and Machine Doubling on proof coins that are struck twice. There could be triple damage on business strike coins if the coin was machine doubled during the strike and damaged again during ejection. The doubling would probably be on the tops of the devices from ejection damage. But I would like to see images of your coin. (I don't have any images other than the 100+ images of MD in my educational files) Report this Post to the Staff
