Quote: There's a bit more to it than that. Yes, Lostwords, you right - the coin has a background. But let's say, even the Superman superknown superhero coins didn't reach this popularity in 2013. And Winnie the Pooh - will be the coin with him popular? Non-predictable I just try to judge from the consumer point of view, very surprised for what people pay GBP 500 ....

With a 15000 mintage, wonder what they are drinking over the other side of the pond?

The Water Droplet coin could be a big hit. Same with the gold plated Inukshuk coin which is advertised as the first reverse gold plated coin.
Sure, they are sort of high mintage but if they can sell out 15,000 of the rabbit coins, who knows.

I think we know anything over 4000 mintage there is a lot of resistance.

The O Canada "Inukshuk" was better. I had a spare and sold it for CAD 25. This one just variety of the same. Gold plating doesn't add any value here, IMO. (RAM gold-plated round base metal 50 cents, due to 50-Anniversary of decimal coinage, and it immediately sold-out and now doubled in asking price - this I understand. But just to take the coin and make it gold plated?)
I liked "Water Drop" cause it something fresh. Is the coin itself has a concave shape and drop on top of it, or the coin is flat + "drop"?
Will not order - doesn't fit my collection.

For the Mother Earth coin, what does it mean by "a unique 3D dome effect in the shape of a water droplet"?
Looking at the photos, it looks something like a transparent half water droplet shaped capsule somehow glued on the coin with the photo of the earth printed on it...
Is my interpretation of the stock photo correct? Anyone know what does that transparent capsule made of... glass or clear plastic?

Cdncoins VIP members can buy the Mother Earth coin today. Price is $99.95. "Limit of 1 per household." Quote: the coin is flat + "drop"? It appears that way in the photos. Looks good.

Based strictly on the photos via the link mentioned earlier, I'd have to say the water drop coin idea is pretty cool. However it does look pretty cheaply made as well. Almost gimmicky. It's not for me although I'm sure it will do well. The price is reasonable for this type of coin, I suppose. My opinion may change upon more info, as well as seeing it in hand. If there's going to be tons of coins released, at least the prices are getting better. Can anyone predict what the next RCM first will be?

Diamonds and an emerald? Sure to impress. Whoever owns this one must have one stunning collection of coins! I don't think I'll ever even get to see one up close, let alone own one. But I'm impressed with the mint on this one. It gives the high rollers a chance to buy coins the lower tiers can't. The guys on top really get to take advantage of the masters club program as they rightfully deserve. $7000 on 1 coin? Darn right that collector is among the nclt elite.

Just my opinion, the waterdrop coin looks goofy.
