Beautiful! The chest comes to around 136 ounces totaling approx. $2700 in silver! A very nice gift for any family members to find somewhere in the ground out back ;)

My vision is to have a box about three times this size. Something that with the box would weight between 40 to 50lbs.
I would wait until my grandkids are mid teens. So I would have another 10 years to get it done.

Will any of you make an actual map leading to the treasure? Or maybe something more in the style of Amazing Race, with clues and assignments that must be fulfilled before the treasure's there?

For me, I think it will be a series of clues along the lines of "Goonies" ... "Hey you guys" and One eyed Willie It will have to be hidden in such a way that you have to have the clues. I have a few years to figure it out .. but ideas are forming in my head.

Ok, now I'm about to learn a new feature of American modern culture, as we didn't have Goonies here when I was young(er). I just remember it was a fairly popular video game on the NES... one of my friends had that one, I had other games.

I think you should get the DVD, Blu-ray, or digital download. You will not be disappointed.

I think back to when I was a kid watching You Can't Do That on Television. You would have to trick them into saying "I don't know" during a riddle or something.

I did get that third call today .... seeing if I wanted to buy some silver .... of course I said yes I do like Mexican silver ..... Mexico cap and rays are some of my favorites A couple of the pick ups today filled a couple empty holes in my Dansco Mexico album. And a couple were upgrades. I could not say no to this 1oz Buggs Bunny round. That increased the silver box count by over 6oz. 141.7592 ASW

Your chest project is probably something most inspiring coin-wise I've seen in quite some time. Great work and thank you for sharing and updating on your progress!
