Has some toning, I don't think it's been cleaned. Unlike most of my coins, but they not too expensive to buy.

AU details. May not be a details coin if you give it a acetone rinse to see if the crud will come off.

Would a soak in soap and distilled water hurt it any? No acetone handy.

AU details. I would not put the coin back in that oily coin holder in the photo, it is loaded with PVC and is causing damage to the coin. If you have any others in that same type of holder I would remove them immediately. Once done, soak the coins in Acetone to stop the damage from progressing.

I have taken it out of that holder and put in flip, will go out tomorrow and get some 100% acetone to dip.

Well, here she is after a acetone bath, looks like some of the gunk was hiding some marks on her chin. Didn't do anything to scratch it,just soaked in glass bowl, and used rubber glove. May let it soak a awhile to see if more gunk comes off.

Looks better but it may have PVC damage that can't be repaired, at least you stopped it from getting worse. Those old plastic flips are a killer, loaded with PVC to make them soft and bendable without breaking.
