About two weeks ago I posted about finding a 40%
Kennedy half dollar just sitting in a bank teller change tray.
I travel quite a bit within my home state so I've come to know most of the tellers within the six branches I frequent to the point I know them all by name. My branch always has the change tray out in the open where I can see whats in them
I have seen quite an increase in
Kennedy half dollars and
Ike dollars in these trays all summer long, not sure why but it makes life interesting.
Most of the time I find nothing but today was an extreme exception. In about ten dollars in half dollars I pulled this excellent bunch from the pile. What a score!

The 58 Franklin blew me away!
Question though, I'm less a coin collector than I am a silver hunter. I picked up the 2000 Kennedy S because it's flawless and I'm wondering if it's a proof or just BU. Opinions?
