That's because you are a high spending loyal customer. Lol. Again, I'd suggest contacting the mint in writing to express your distaste for the masters club program.

My rep just got back from vacation and replied me. He told me instead of getting the box, I now will get the credit so that I can spend them on anything I want. He made it sounds like they are doing us a flavour  , taking away a $129.95 gift and giving us (maybe) $40 credit in return. What a joke! Honestly, I can easily save that much by buying the new coins somewhere else, or wait for them to go on sale, even the Mint now has clearance sales ...

I asked my rep how much my credit is going to be. The answer? "We don't know". That's probably since there was no program with "eligible purchases" last year so they are having a hard time figuring this one out. I want the box, not my $20 credit. As stated earlier, if I'm not getting the box, I'll use the credit the buy a frame and display the 3 birthstone coins I ordered. I got one in April, one in July, and the last will be in December. That will be my final purchase from the RCM.

If the credit is based on what was spent last year plus the cost of the box, it still doesn't make sense.

I was on the lowest level of the platinum tier last year. I didn't get a free coin

I know it seems petty buy it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, maybe its just from the slap in the face they gave us. I sent them an email I suspect it will just go in the trash folder.
not sure if I will continue to by coins from the mint other then ones I think will sell out. most I can get from deals months or a year later at a discounted price.
Lets see what happens I guess

The only thing definite about the free case is there is no free case for the July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017 year. http://www.mint.ca/store/mint/custo....V79h3En6uAgWhat is confusing is why are some people saying they will be getting a case soon. My best guess is those people are getting a case because they reached the MC Platinum tier late in the year. When the cases were shipped out in the spring these customers did not qualify but did so later.

The RCM management just swings as the wind blows, the box must cost a fortune to ship as I remember it was quite heavy now that they are trying to cost crunch but as many have already said can't promise one thing then renege and also leave your best customers and reps swaying.

It seems that collectors who already received a free case last year and and again achieved platinum status, are receiving the credit this year. Those 'new' platinum status members that qualified between July 2015 to June 2016, will get a free case.

That is exactly right. But sending an email like they did on June 27 saying a box will be sent in August only to learn half way through August that you're not getting one is insulting, especially since other people that haven't been loyal high paying customers as long are getting the case. The fact the reps don't even know how to respond makes the RCM look foolish. According to the new program as stated in the link Moneypenny posted, there are low numbered COAs being set aside for master club members, There are also special masters club events and contests and draws apparently. I've heard nothing of those. Invites must be in the boxes they didn't send us.

The credits were supposed to start accumulating starting July 1st, 2016 to June 30, 2017 based on eligible purchases made during that time. They describe what are considered eligible purchases, but only at the start of this program year. So, hypothetically, if you bought $10,000 worth of $x for $x, not only do you not get the box, you also don't get a credit redemption code because your $10k wasn't eligible purchases? The redemption code is based on 1% of eligible purchases. So I figure I'm getting a $20-30 credit at best. So free shipping seems to be really the only perk. The advance notice is useless if you're at the bottom of the platinum tier or lower, as the few coins that will sell out, do before you see them.

I just posted a $10 off $20 coupon code in the sales thread: https://goccf.com/t/191371&whichpage=68#2266138If I have to "earn" this amount of credit through the MC program, it will cost me $1000 purchase. But the Mint is giving these out for free to non-MC customers. Ridiculous!

I am so disappointed lately with the responses from my rep. I don't blame him because I truly believe that they have no clue what is happening with the following: 1. How come I do not get a newsletter like the rest do on this forum? I am platinum prestige. (The answer from my rep: "They are cutting down on sending newsletters"!! 2. The Olympic Cap offer.....How can I get one since I order so much? (The answer from my rep: "Oh it is so complex and the rules are just so strict"! 3. Spend $200.00 and receive free coin and frame offer. (The answer from my rep: "I cannot apply to your account" (Yet new clients of theirs will get this offer. SHAME ON THEM) 4. I track my spend from July 1, 2016 and no way does it compare to what they have on my profile. I have spent way more than stated. 5. My rep is getting quite confusing. He does not cancel my orders that I want cancelled and then he cancels the orders I do want. AND, I do not do this often. I truly believe that the RCM is in a state of total dysfunction. The reps must be going crazy with what is going on and are trying to "wing" their responses because they truly have no answers. I still cannot get over how they have not sent me any newsletters. Unbelievable.
