Thanks fuzzy. I was starting to question if I was in the right place. Maybe I was hopeful I had a VAM. Lol.
Now to Google the term slider. How have I not heard that one yet? Thanks guys.

A "slider" is a coin with very faint wear that used to pass as "commercial uncirculated" back before the TPGs.

Awsome Thanks guys. Got them for about melt so I suppose I'm not losing. Was told no lower than ms 62 but had my doubts as there is some notable wear.

They do have a nice lustre to them that's hard to capture.

Every Morgan has a VAM. The trick is figuring out which one you have.

For VAM info check out this site.

Awsome Thanks. The 84 definatly has a reverse clash by the upper right leave.
I'm seeing conflicting values online. Any thoughts on value of these little baby's? Do I need to identify vams for value?

Try looking at ebay's "sold" listings for coins in similar conditions and same years. This will give you an idea of what they are selling for.

VAMs can add value. but only to VAM collectors. Most collectors will buy Morgans that appeal to them regardless of VAM. I find it brings a whole new depth to collecting Morgans. Watch out...it can be addicting.

Awsome. I New that was the way to check. Just never knew how. Googled how so now I'm good. Now to resurch the vams. I sense a new auction for sure.
