Liked it? I loved it. Couldn't_have_asked for more Darth. Many Christmas thank you's. I'll have to pass the genrosity on next year. The family card was a nice touch too. Cute little girl you have there. Looks just like her mom, thank goodness I always check ikes for DDO / DDR first thing after checking for a peg leg but oddly never try to match them to their known classifications. The DDO on this one is not like others I've seen. It spreads the bottom of some of the letters making them noticeably fatter. I haven't ruled it actually being a TDO out yet... And you know I had to check that 71s for the worm The Morgan was the piece de resistance. Very nice color and my favorite year/mm. And a cool VAM to boot. The v20 has wicked cool date doubling and chicken pox like dots all over the eagle. I call it "The Sickly Bird" The Hobo nickel is awesome. I'm really starting to like these carved creations as a sub niche. And this design, while not actually being one, has the feel of a Nightmare Before Christmas design. I like it Also, the Canadian dollars are wicked. The silver has killer neon color and I've never seen any clad coin with such aweome toning.

I received my gift from Mayflower2020 a few days before Christmas, but in the turmoil of the season I'm a bit late posting. I received some mint rolls (2009 Lincoln Presidency & Professional Life along with a 2005 Buffalo nickel). In addition, there were 10 Wheat Cents from the 1930s and 1940s. And the final piece (my favorite) was roll of "S" mint Homestead Quarters. Thanks much for a thoughtful and fun package of coins!

Quote: Steele...How do you get such closeup pictures use my iPhone to take the picture then I crop in photoshop to 5"x5" at original dpi. for the Morgan it turned out to be 386.2 dpi. Save as jpeg at whatever compression gets me just under 300k so I can upload directly to the webpage with out using the image optimizer

Santa has arrived at my home, hope he didn't melt as it was nice today. He left me a very nice selection of indian head and wheat cents, as well as a 1st day of issue 2009 P professional life, and a 2010 P union shield first day of issue. He also left me a St. Louis cardinals elongated cent with the team mascot, Fred Bird on it! And, he also left me some chocolate coins, and I promise I won't try to spend them! Thank you very much biokemist6, your gift is very generous!

Santa plowed through several feet of snow and arrived at my house today as well. All the way from Michigan. Got a variety of US(both classic and modern) and world coins as well as some Chocolate Kennedy halves and quarters (Yum Yum). Came with a card signed "CCF Secret Santa" So whomever you are, Thank you for some great coins. I will post(quite a few) pictures later tonight.
