So I received my sub of 5 ASE's today...only there were four inside. Hmmmm..did a chat with the Mint and they steered me to a form to submit re: incomplete order that will take 4-6 weeks to resolve. Let me guess how this will end....

Yuk... that stinks, Fox. Sorry to hear that.
How did the ones look that you did receive?

One time my sub for five coins came with only one coin in the box. I pointed out to customer service that both their stated package weight and that posted by UPS were less than the weight of 5 boxed coins without any outer packaging and they very quickly sent the other 4 coins. That was when PB was doing fulfillment and you probably can't do that with 4 vs. 5 coins but you should check the weights anyway. If your package weighs too little to be 5 coins and packaging, they might speed up the correction.

I'm gonna fill out the form and send it it. Just glad I didn't keep it as a sealed box and sell it to someone that way...don't even want to get into that mess...(or send the sealed box for grading)...
..also re: weight. Box is listed as 1 lb....actual weight is 13.9 ounces....hmmmmm

Foxwoods Man, I am sorry about your " missing ASE'S ". I just received the limited edition silver set, the ASE was absent........ I too was asked to return the partial set and fill out special forms..... Why the lower Q C standards now a days..........

I hope that by now they have the box filling on video. We use video in the production & shipping at my business. It proves what went out and proves what came in. BTW, I received an extra 2016 proof ASE on a replacement order for something else. I sent it back, but I'm thinking that someone else probably got shorted.

Quote: I just received the limited edition silver set, the ASE was absent. Wow ...I can understand putting four instead of five in a box but how can you miss that centerpiece of a coin in that set? Another vote against selling (or buying) sealed boxes to/from someone

Maybe a new market is being born. The "sealed box error" market.

Hmmm. Possible...but you would have to submit the sealed box for verification which means you already know what's inside.... ..and once the box is opened for said verification it no longer meets criteria for the coveted "Sealed Box Error" designation... Lame I know but it's too cold outside...no energy to go anywhere
