I got a 17D Jefferson nickel last week from the Disabled Vets advertisement with the nickel and more address stickers. I will have to swap a check for the nickel, which I feel is one of the best to help as I have a lot of friends that have been in Vietnam

I live in Western Pennsylvania. I received my first 2017-P cent in change last week. Then I was in Rite Aid yesterday and saw shiny nickels in the register drawer. I exchanged 2 dimes for 4 nickels. 3 of them were 2016-P and one was 2017-P. I thought it was kind of strange to have 2 different dates of new nickels together. I will have to go back to see if I can get more. Usually I don't see nickels until May or June.

On a side note, my wife is a manager of a convenience store. I ask her regularly, but for the past couple years she has not gotten ANY solid rolls of any new coins. Bummer. I guess her bank doesn't get new stuff.

Still no sign of the quarters, but the cents are becoming more and more common. At least 2/3s of the cents in my drawer at work are usually 2017s.

Got my first two 2017 coins this week: one 2017-D Effigy Mounds quarter from McDonalds, and one 2017D Roosevelt dime from Starbucks. Still no pennies or nickels, although I am seeing a very large number of shiny new 2016 pennies lately. Local financial institutions must be drawing down their '16 penny stocks. I'm in Lawrence, KS

Got my first 2017 yesterday on St. Paddy's Day. Bought a couple of tacos and saw the lady break open a new roll of cents. I thought to myself, looks like I'm finally getting a 2017 Lincoln. Sure enough, I got a shiny brand new 2017-D only touched by one human. Back home I looked at it with a 10X loupe and saw no smudges or fingerprints on it. So, I popped that baby into my Dansco album. Still missing the 2016 (philly), so I doubt I'll see a 2017-P for a long while (we get mostly Denver mint coins here in Kansas since we border Colorado).
